Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind has launched our Easter Chocolate Fundraiser 2018 in partnership with Purdys Chocolatier. You can purchase your Easter chocolate and support Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind. This program gives 25% of the profit back to Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind, and its an easy way to complete your Easter shopping. Prices are the same as in Purdys stores and many items are under $10! All Purdys Chocolates are made FRESH in their factory and without additives or preservatives.
Order deadline is Wednesday, March 14
You MUST pick up orders between Monday, March 26 and Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 8:30am and 5:00pm at Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind, 4120 Rideau Valley Drive North, Manotick, Ontario.

Dance to the big band sounds of the Ottawa New Horizons Jazz Band Two Beats Ahead, in support of Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind, presented by Manotick Veterinary Hospital and Orchard View Wedding & Event Centre. The concert takes place on Saturday, April 28, 2018. Meet future guide dogs at 7:30pm, and dance and enjoy the music starting at 8:00pm. Tickets will be available at the door or secure them in advance for at Manotick Veterinary Hospital or Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind. Tickets are $25, or $10 for children less than ten.

Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind presents our 34th annual Dollar$ for Dog$ Fundraising Dog Walk. This is an event for the public and their pet dogs to raise funds for Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind. Raise pledges in advance and join us for a four-kilometre walk in the park on May 27. $100 in pledges will get you an exclusive Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind t-shirt; $500 gets you a $50 gift card from a major retailer; $1,000 will get you a $100 gift card. After the walk, stick around for free pizza and plenty of prizes. More details coming soon!

Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind will host our 5th annual Nine & Dine Golf Fun Day & Lobster Dinner at the Canadian Golf & Country Club, 7800 Golf Club Way, Ashton on Sunday, June 24, 2018. The day features 9-holes of golf with cart, plus a scrumptious, full lobster dinner to follow. Shotgun start is 2:00pm, with dinner at 5:30pm, and plenty of prizes. This is meant as a fun day of golf. Experienced players are certainly welcome. However, we encourage new or occasional golfers to join in the fun, with no pressure! More information coming soon. Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind hosts our annual UK Day Garden Party & Tea. Stop by for authentic Devon cream tea & freshly baked scones; enjoy the live music by Brian E. Lynch Guitar and Voice; and get your imported food and wares from British food vendor Clarence & Cripps. The event takes place at the National Training Centre of Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind, 4120 Rideau Valley Drive North, Manotick on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 1pm-4pm. This is a rain or shine event with indoor & outdoor seating. All proceeds are directed towards the training of guide dogs and assistance dogs. Tickets are available for $13 in advance at Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind or by phone at 613-692-7777. Cost at the door will be $15.
