Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind presents our 37th annual Dollar$ for Dog$ Fundraising Dog Walk. This is an event for the public and their pet dogs to raise funds for Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind. Raise pledges in advance and join us for a four-kilometre walk in the park on Sunday, May 30, 2021. $100 in pledges will get you an exclusive Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind t-shirt; $500 gets you a $50 gift card from a major retailer; $1,000 will get you a $100 gift card.

Get your entry form today by emailing fundraising@guidedogs.ca or phone 613-692-7777. You can also create an online profile to raise funds for the event; an easy way to ask for donations from friends, family members, and colleagues.

Here’s the plan:

1) Confirm your attendance at Andrew Haydon Park by signing up online or phone or email us.

2) When you confirm your attendance, we’ll give you an arrival time window, between 8:00am-11:00am, to check in and start your walk, on your own or with those ‘in your bubble’.

If you prefer and feel more comfortable, do your own walk in your own community or neighbourhood. You don’t have to attend at Andrew Haydon Park. It’s your own walk, by yourself, or with those ‘in your bubble’.

Location:
Ottawa, Ontario
Andrew Haydon Park
3169 Carling Avenue
or…. walk in your own community or neighbourhood

Due to the rapidly evolving changes in relation to COVID-19, we must adhere to any bylaws or orders in effect on the day of this event. The format of this event may have to change in the future. We will contact individuals who have confirmed participation.

Either way, we can use your help as we continue, during the pandemic, to train guide dogs and Canadians who are blind or visually impaired.
